Silver and Sons

A chef with a following isn't a brand. We built Silver and Sons into one, and the business followed: two new locations since we started.

Brand and social media creative for Silver and Sons, a barbecue restaurant in the DMV.

The Challenge

Silver and Sons had something most restaurants would kill for: a chef people actually wanted to watch. That's also the trap. When the social account is the chef's account, the brand lives inside one person's charisma and one person's calendar.

What We Did

The team rebuilt the identity so Silver and Sons became the thing people followed, then built a scalable content engine and influencer partnership program that put the food in front of trusted DMV creators.

The Results

  • Instagram grew from 2,000 to 5,500 followers, a 175 percent increase
  • Reels now pull over 100,000 views per month, driven by influencer partnerships
  • Two new locations opened since the engagement began
  • Repositioned from a chef-driven feed to a recognized DMV barbecue brand
  • A content engine that scales past one kitchen, making expansion possible

Background

Silver and Sons is a barbecue restaurant in the DMV, led by Jarrad Silver.

The food was already worth talking about. The job was making sure the talking scaled with the business, and pointed at the brand rather than one person.

The work

This is an ongoing brand and social engagement.

Brand strategy separated the restaurant’s identity from the founder’s personal feed. Creative strategy and organic social built the content engine. Influencer partnerships extended reach into audiences that already trust local food voices. The whole program was pointed at recognition, because recognition is what makes a second location viable and a third one obvious.
