Practice Togetherly Wellness Marketplace

Practice Togetherly

We ran a six-week growth sprint for Practice Togetherly, a Northern Virginia wellness marketplace, building the positioning, referral program, provider network, and community partnerships that bring new clients to the platform.

The Challenge

Practice Togetherly connects people with interviewed, insured instructors for private yoga, personal training, sound baths, and group sessions, at home or in their community. The product worked, but most people did not know this was something they could buy, and the founder was running growth on her own. Three directions were competing for attention: weekly individual clients, community and property events, and occasions like weddings. Spreading thin across all three in six weeks would have meant progress on none.

What We Did

We sequenced the work the way a marketing director would. The website and booking-flow audit came first, so every later effort sent people into a path that converts. Community and property events became the front door, feeding weekly individual bookings where the revenue lives. Then we built the pieces that keep working after the engagement ends: a referral program, a provider ambassador toolkit, a B2B outreach system, a media pitch, and a content library shot in-house.

The Results

  • 3 bookings from cold walk-ins at the first September community events, generated with $0 in paid advertising
  • 1 unsolicited introduction across a regional property portfolio from a property partner
  • A clear positioning platform built around a practical differentiator: transparent pricing and end-to-end booking in one place
  • A complete photo and video library captured in-house, without hiring a separate photographer or videographer

The business

Practice Togetherly is a Northern Virginia wellness marketplace connecting people with interviewed, insured instructors for private yoga, personal training, sound baths, and group sessions. Sessions can happen at home, in apartment buildings, or in the wider community. Prices are visible up front, and customers can book in one place.

The service was ready, but awareness was not. The founder was managing growth alone, with three possible audiences competing for attention: recurring individual clients, community and property events, and one-off occasions such as weddings. A six-week sprint needed to choose a focused path rather than spread effort across all three.

The strategy

We made community and property events the entry point, then connected that discovery to recurring individual bookings. Before sending more people to the business, we audited the website and booking flow so the path from interest to booking was clear. The message centered on what made the marketplace easy to try: vetted instructors, transparent prices, and booking handled in one place.

  • Positioning and messaging: a positioning statement, master message, and three messaging pillars.
  • Website conversion audit: prioritized improvements to the messaging, site structure, and booking flow, with homepage headline options.
  • Content system: five content pillars and 20 ready-to-publish captions.
  • Referral and provider programs: a referral program for repeat clients and an ambassador toolkit to help instructors introduce the service.
  • Community and B2B outreach: a ranked target list, one-pager, rate card, event kit, and outreach sequence for property managers, residential communities, and local organizations.
  • PR and creative: story angles, a media pitch, local outreach, and a photo and video library captured in-house.
  • Measurement: a week-one baseline, a week-six results read, and a simple dashboard for the founder to continue using.

Early traction

At the first September community events, three people booked after walking in cold, with no paid advertising. A property partner also offered an unsolicited introduction across a regional property portfolio, creating a next step for broader community partnerships.

These early signals came from a focused path: meet potential customers through local events, make the offer and pricing easy to understand, and give interested people a straightforward way to book. The sprint also left the founder with reusable messaging, referral and provider programs, outreach materials, and a content system—not just a one-time campaign.

Beyond the brief

When Practice Togetherly hosted an event with a local apartment building, we came out to capture the partnership in action. We also coached the founder on sales, including joining her on a live sales call. The work extended beyond marketing deliverables to help the founder build confidence in asking for the business.

Client Testimonials

“Working with Christa at ZAMA has been such a positive experience. She creates great content and has a real talent for capturing high-quality photos and videos herself, which saved me the added expense of hiring a separate photographer or videographer. What really stood out to me, though, was how much Christa went above and beyond our contract. When I hosted an event in partnership with a local apartment building, she recognized what a great opportunity it was and came out to capture additional footage, even though it was beyond the photo session we had originally agreed upon. She also helped me grow as a business owner, coaching me on sales tactics and encouraging me to ask directly for what I wanted. She even joined a sales call with me, which was completely outside the scope of her work. Those experiences made it clear that Christa genuinely cares about my company and wants to see it succeed. She felt less like a marketing contractor and more like a true partner who was invested in helping me grow my business. As an early-stage founder, having someone like that in your corner is invaluable. I'm so grateful to have worked with her and would absolutely recommend Christa and ZAMA!”
